About Me
Lauren Davis is an aspiring Reporter/MMJ earning her Master's degree at Indiana University-Bloomington. She can pitch, write, shoot, edit, and present stories ranging from breaking news to investigative pieces to feature and enterprise pieces. She also has skills in print journalism, photojournalism, and production.
Davis is passionate and hardworking. She has a knack for storytelling. She is an essential asset in the newsroom for her hands-on experience working in investigative journalism. While obtaining her Master's Degree at Indiana University, she works for one of the nation's top investigative journalism teams, Gray Television/ InvestigateTV, as a News Content Specialist. She also is one of the lead investigative reporters at the Michael I. Arnolt Center for Investigative Journalism at Indiana University.

Davis has professional broadcast experience by working with Gray Television's national investigative team, InvestigateTV. As a News Content Specialist, she researched, data-mined, interviewed, edited video, and wrote long-form investigative web pieces. After interning for WHNT News-19 in Huntsville, Alabama, she also gained newsroom and investigative experience after graduating with her Bachelor's degree.

Lauren's background in journalism did not start at the graduate level. She gained tremendous experience while getting her Bachelor's degree at Middle Tennessee State University. She worked for MT10 News, a student-run broadcasting station, and Middle Tennessee News, a broadcasting station operated by professors to guide students in a working newsroom. For both organizations, she served as a reporter and producer. During her time at Middle Tennessee News, she earned the role of Assignment Manager.
